Warranty

Warranty for CentroThatch

We hereby give you a warranty of the Product subject to the following terms & conditions:

1.

Interpretation:

(a)

Product shall mean CentroThatch range of Art Thatch and Mixed Thatch Shingles described in the attached copy of invoice/quotation.

(b)

Defect shall mean defective material used for the Product.

(c)

Warranty Period shall mean the period of 10 years commencing from the date of purchase of the Product which shall be the date of the invoice.

Disclaimer:

We shall not be liable for any Defect arising or resulting from:

(a)

improper installation, storage or maintenance of the Product;

(b)

Act of God or force majeure;

(c)

improper use of the Product;

(d)

any act of negligence;

(e)

fair wear and tear.
3.

Claims:

(a)

Any claim under this Warranty must be made during the Warranty Period and in writing and submitted to us at our Singapore office together with supporting evidence substantiating such claim. Full details of the Defect must be given to enable us to evaluate the claim.

(b)

We must be allowed a reasonable period of time to investigate the claim and determine whether it falls within the scope of this Warranty. You shall provide all information as may be required by us in order for us to evaluate the claim.

(c)

If we determine that the Defect is covered by this Warranty, we shall replace the Product with a similar Product but if one is not available, then with a replacement substantially similar to the Product as determined by us in our sole discretion.

(d)

You shall be responsible for all costs relating to the replacement of the Product including charges for shipping/freight, transportation, insurance and re-installation of the replacement Product.
4.

Miscellaneous:

(a)

This Warranty is not assignable or transferable under any circumstances and is personal to you.

(b)

This Warranty shall be void if:

(i) the Product is in any way altered unless such alteration has been approved by us in writing;
(ii) the Product is not installed by a competent contractor and in accordance with our specific installation instructions.

(c)

This Warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore and the parties hereto agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Singapore with regard to any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Warranty.

(d)

We may in our sole discretion elect to pay you the cost of the replacement Product in lieu of providing you with a replacement Product and such payment shall fully satisfy our obligations under this Warranty.
